Grilled Chicken, My Style

Wow! New template, new color, new font....new everything!

Actually, I wasn't planning on changing these things. I just couldn't post kanina kaya ganito. What's wrong with my account ba? It's getting tougher and tougher with each posting I make.

Anyways, my day has been good so far. The greatest achievement I've had: a delicious (daw) grilled chicken that I so painstakingly prepared, from the chicken stuffing to the marinade to the grilling itself. Oh my! Labor of love ito, so it's such a delight to know that my family loved it! I now have a name for it, Grilled Chicken ala Karen! Ay panget! Grilled Chicken, My Style na lang...Wahahaha!!!!

Ah wait, let me post the recipe. Nyahaha!!!
Grilled Chicken, My Style

Ingredients:
1 whole chicken
for the chicken stuffing
lemon grass
quartered oranges
finely chopped parsley
diced onion
garlic
ginger
butter (diced)
for the marinade
orange extract
finely chopped parsley
iodized salt
freshly ground pepper
melted butter
chopped onion
minced garlic
ginger
cooking oil
vinegar
maggi savor

Directions:

Wash whole chicken and let it dry for a few minutes.

Season the chicken cavity with salt and pepper before stuffing it with quartered oranges, chopped parsley, garlic, lemon grass, diced onion, ginger and butter. Sew chicken opening to avoid spilling out of chicken stuffing while grilling.

Mix orange extract, parsley, salt, pepper, melted butter, onion, garlic, ginger, vinegar, cooking oil and maggi savor for the marinade. Baste chicken with marinade. Set aside and let chicken absorb the flavor for a few hours. Finally, it's ready to be grilled. Enjoy!
